Jarte is a full-featured word processor for Windows platforms. The application has taken a lot from applications like Firefox and Notepad and WordPad to make a great word processor. The main idea behind Jarte is usability. So, the developers created an application that is both light-weight and powerful. With nice additions like the use of tabs and hotkeys, Jarte makes it easy to create high-quality documents. Those documents can be explorted to .txt, .doc, .docx, pdf or html files without the need of any add-ons. You can also open most text files. The developers wanted to do without the use of the mouse as much as possible, so they added hotkeys for almost everything. The less time you use in clicking, the more productive you become. Also, this application can be run entirely from a USB drive, which makes it absolutely portable. It has dictionaries which you can change to meet your requirements. Also, you can import dictionaries from Word. The languages supported include English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Dutch. |
